Maybe --squash shouldn't be there if we have an `squash' action, but for the other cases, how they do not make sense? On my view, actions not only implement orthogonal commands, but they are shortcuts too. Instead of "m-cm" (for merge --commit) we have "mc". That's useful when you do that operation N times per day.
