Yes, I'll try to make one soon. I didn't have any fatal problems (yet?)
after my changes so I guess it should be relatively safe to let you try it
out :-)

What I don't understand is what is so wrong with storing it. Ok, I
understand that some people are really paranoid^H^H^H^H^H^H^H^Hsecurity
conscious and so it should, of course, work if you don't want to store it
but deep inside me I think it doesn't change much: if someone can read the
values in the registry of your Win32 workstation they can get your
passwords anyhow.

Sorry, I completely forgot the details of this one - is there an entry for
it in the bug tracker?

Reopening the folder(s) you had previously had opened, probably? Try
checking the "don't open any folders on startup" in the folders page and
see if it makes any difference.

Wow, HTML could be a bit slow (especially if there are big inline images)
but text should be instantaneous. How big is the message you view? Does it
improve if you disable different colorization options in the message view
page?

Mine have around 1000 each and I don't have any problems except when the
server decides to start dropping connections when it's under load (happens
quite a lot in peak hours :-(). In any case, the 2nd problem is surely
unrelated to the folder size - only message size could play here.

VZ
