True: *if* you realize that you have deleted multiple msgs,
and *if* you move deleted msgs to trash.

This is particularly an issue for new users, I believe.

You have pointed out that ctrl-<pgdn>, <space> will also
lead to a multiple selection in Windows explorer. True.
But <pgdn>, <space> will not. Where is the equivalent
to the latter in Mahogany? I think it is needed.
How about alt-<pgdn> for a normal <pgdn> in the folder view
(since <pgdn> is seized by the msg view).

What about the person who does not delete to trash and who
expunges msgs from a folder automatically when leaving it?
Shouldn't they be warned at least once that they have chosen
an action that caused multiple selections that they are
about to delete, when this is something that can easily be
missed by a new user?

In my Mahogany
i. The status bar is usually blank unless a new action is
performed.
ii. When it is not blank, it does not show the number of msgs
selected.
iii. Nor is msg selection an action that causes the status
bar to display

Cheers,
Alan
