What they do in Sylpheed that I thought was really nifty was when you
bring up any menu, you highlight the entry you want to change and type
the keystroke you want to change it to. That is then the new short
keystroke for that command and if that keystroke was previously
assigned to something else, it removes it from the previous command.

Let's look at this another way, program or whatever that uses a cursor
like that? Maybe if we can find what uses / causes that cursor type,
it may give us some ideas?

Thanks. That was before my time so I was unaware of that specific one.
OK, that makes me wonder, has anyone seen this sort of behavious under
Windows or is it *nix specific. If we can't track it down by
reproducing it, maybe we can use some lateral thinking to point us in
the right direction. Mybe it is a *nix thing, or an X thing, or a GTK
thing or whatever?!

Yes, more coders would be welcomed with open arms. Anybody with a bit
of knowledge of C++, wxWindows, Python, Palm would be welcome in the
Developers group!
