 This is fixed in WX_2_6_BRANCH of wx cvs, i.e. will be fixed in 2.6.4.

 This is because of a stupid GTK1 workaround in wxLocale::GetSystemEncoding()
which I removed in HEAD and, just now, removed in 2.6 branch as well: it
forces UTF-8 locale to be reported as UTF-8. I think the best is to disable
the check in M sources for wx <= 2.6.3, I'll do it.
