Any one who ignores Windows ( it is a necessary evil ) will be an
impoverished programmer and can harm the aspirations of people who depend
upon them. (our kids, siblings and parents might not share the same zeal
regarding the Free Software movement )

haa, so u want to step on 2 boats at the same time... ;P.

How can we not ignore the institutionalized monopoly who does everything
possible(yeah there are some impossible elements in the universe that
doesn't require a window's license yet..for eg: courage, wisdom and talent
!!) to safeguards its own interest above the user community? There is no
neutral stance here... Either you are in collaboration with the monopoly...
or you not. Simple isnt it..as black and white.

No one has become impoverished programmer just because he hasn't bought any
stuff that gates sells..infact, you could save urself the trouble of
continous reboots and those stupid BSODs, by switching to a fully baked
release like Debian, instead of a market driven semi-cooked windows.

I come for User group meeting ( developer stream ) and has educated people
about writing software for Linux

so which is the famous GNU project that u have worked for?.. or let me put
it this way.. have you written any code that got downloaded more than 400
times?? i can show u a lot of mine...

If the current trend of Microsoft continues, of that of introducing
purposefull bugs and mis-features into its products, so as to harrass the
consumers into buying a new release every year..well.. soon the tables will
be reversed..!! not a matter of hope.. just a matter of time!!.
