Being LGPL doesn't make the software so good. Here the wine program is free.
But its
dependencies are propreitary. That's the reason it is "Lesser" GPL. So it is
not an ethically
right decision to use the software.

From your replies I have understood that you are trying to make Free Software
from Microsoft
Windows, which is a good intention. But can release your new softwares only in
LGPL, as it
may accompany a lot of non-free dependencies. Only the program that you write
will be free. It
is like you are trying to learn dancing, which is a good thing. But you don't
realize that your
 legs are locked together.

It is impossible to make a software from Windows that is entirely free. But
you can easily
rewrite the same software in GNU+Linux, using Qt. Why can't you think in that
direction, which
is the right thing to do?

You are going to release this under LGPL.

I think you are talking about GNU Operating System, not the kernel Linux.

That is an exaggeration. You are talking about the convenience of the users and
not about Freedom
and truth.

Prevention is better than cure.

I hope you will understand my reply positively.

 Bye,
