I just tried the different settings in the Ge ar/View menu (see attached screenshot) and it worked as expected. - Do you use a custom stylesheet? (see Preferences > Tweak UI) - Do you use a different Gmail text size, please set it to 100% by using the "View > Actual Size" menu item
