There is P. Herc. 817 CLA III.385  an anonymous Carmen de Bello Actiaco
excavated 1752 and unrolled 1805 (see Reynolds, Texts and Transmission).
Bischof, (Palaeography, p. 57) mentions 'the Latin papyri (note plural) from
Herculaneum.

I believe someone did reply, but we just don't take his objections
seriously; since he is a respected scholar in his own field, the
politest response is to pretend one didn't hear.

Fragments of Ennius, Caecilius Statius, and Lucretius have turned up; in
particular, we now know that the last word of Annales VI was exactly
what it should have been, _Burrus_. But I can't second Helen's views on
Philodemus, been involved in the project on the OUP side of things.
