Althought, on the Temple of Hadrian at Campus Martius, the province of Egypt is personnified by a woman holding a pomegranate and, seemingly, an olive tree branch (but it could be a plam too), the crocodile (Sobek/Suchos) is always associated with Egypt in the Nile mosaics (Palestrina f.i.) We know also a sesterce figuring emperor Caracalla trampling a crocodile in front of Isis: http://www.fredericweber.com/articl_dieux/caracalla_sester_isis.jpg
