Hi Folks I have just had Adobe Writer v7 installed onto my PC so I can create maps to pdf...
Every time I try to write one, the error message below comes up. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ %%[ ProductName: Distiller ]%% %%[ Error: Map-Symbols cannot be embedded because of licensing restrictions. ]%% %%[ Font vendor (Alts) does not permit this font to be embedded in PDF. ]%% [Warning] The font Map-Symbols could not be embedded because of licensing restrictions. Text may display incorrectly on platforms that do not have this font installed. %%[ Error: invalidfont; OffendingCommand: show; ErrorInfo: CharOffsets e ÿÿÿÿ( fonts/XCE85FD50 ]%% Stack: () %%[ Flushing: rest of job (to end-of-file) will be ignored ]%% %%[ Warning: PostScript error. No PDF file produced. ] %% _______________________________________________________________________________________________________ It looks like my map symbols I am using in my thematic (Map Symbols, Filled Circle) is Licenced to Mapinfo and I can't write it to PDF. What's that all about? Cheers Mathieu Apers Mapping Co-ordinator Letterbox Channel This email with any attachments is confidential and may be subject to legal privilege.
