Thanks Robert, but I should have specified 1) I don't have Arcview to test anything with, 2) I'm running MI 6.5 and cannot open shapefiles without first translating them with UT.
If the Arcview user can import or translate *.tab and the associated files, as I would .shp files, It would save me the time/trouble of having to export my files to mifs. No big deal except this is somewhat of a one way transaction from me to them unlike a data swap. You can, however try using the Universal Translator tool in MI to create a shape file. Depending on the number and sizes, the UT may be better. By the way, you can also read ESRI files into MI from the 'open' MI statement, which may also help to check for accurate conversion.
