Hi Eric:

You might also want to look at the SmartLabel product from MapText (www.maptext.com/smartlabel/)
This product gives you all the functionality for generating high-quality labels for all feature types (including curving of labels to follow lines, repeating labels, placing highway symbols etc.).

Subject: Re: [MI-L] more labels

Thanks everybody for all the postings..
The main reason I wanted to use this function is for putting the label
more than once along a polyline.
Ex: a long stretch of highway, it nice to see the label at every 5 or 10 km.

There should be a function added to future mi updates..
Something in the label function: along with "allow overlapping"
But a special function that would allow the same label to appear more
than once and at specific intervals (distances).

For now I think that David's answer will have to do.

Thank you everyone
regards,

Eric
