Let the lurkers flame. The ESRI hegemony on data distribution is
about to crumble into dust whether they like it or not. MapInfo's
MIF/MID and native tab format and AutoDesk's DXF and DWG are
included in the roundup as well. MapInfo data vendors, state and
federal governments, entrepreneurs; warm up your CD burners!
Something wonderful is about to happen on our little blue marble.
