I agree with Mark that Stalin-Trotsky debatte is a distinct debate from the debate on the historical role of the Soviet Union before, during and after the WW II. But these two debates can hardly be separated and do not think it is settled at all as we just start thinking about the issues involved from a historcial distance.
On the question where to debate these issues: I do not think to transfer the debate to another, yet to be established list. But one can set limitation to the postion of people involved, say, two or three a day or something like that.
