I'm impressed that the Socialist Party has united with the Green Party in
running Presidential candidates (
https://www.socialistpartyusa.net/post/congratulations-to-hawkins-walker-on-securing-the-2020-green-party-nomination
) this year.  This act of left unity is historically important but given the
existential danger Trump presents the timing is troubling. The Dims insist on
running neoliberal "centrists" of the Clinton model and I would gladly vote for
Howie Hawkins as an alternative but with the ecosystem, Social Security, civil
rights and the Postal Service on the line and the realistic fear of emboldened
fascism, I feel it is more important to vote not for Biden so much as to defeat
Trump. I welcome opinions on this conundrum.
