You are right Mark. Granted it was obviously more ridiculous to claim that if Bob Dole were elected, the black shirts would be marching down Pennsylvania Avenue than it is now, but only marginally so.
If there is any consolation, it appears there is more push back against "vote shaming" by former Sanders supporters and independents than I have seen for quite some time. A lot of resentment.
