While this a very useful insight, it does not argue against having a long view. 
 If we agree that counter-revolution is inevitable, the next question might be, 
“Can we effectively defeat a counter-revolution?”
If the answer is no, then that should inform out activity today.  Wouldn’t we 
have the duty to moderate struggles and to reduce expectations?

Or, should we be asking ourselves, “Given that counter-revolution is 
inevitable, how can we prepare for it?”
