I don't know about y'all but people have enough of a future at age 70+ at least not to want to die as horribly as seems possible right now. Kein Haus, keine Heimat, kein Weib und kein Kind--one's own fault and Hell richly deserved as per our families and the Presbyterian Church, but all the same ... .
At least it would be nice to have a feeling of solidarity as one faces the inevitable. Are we really going to have strangers praying to Jesus over our dying breaths as they rifle our drawers for trinkets?
