I don't think ANY Democrat has accepted Stephanie Kelton's argument (I
agree with her by the way( --- The only one who ever said that (allegedly)
ws VP Cheney who told someone (forget who) "Reagan proved that deficits
don't matter!"

(I would argue Carter lost to Reagan because he decided to fight inflation
in 1980 with budget cuts which caused a quick but painful recession which
is why Carter lost)
