There is no "new US Cold War against China and Russia." 1) The Cold War was a confrontation between capitalism and socialism. Russia is overtly capitalist, and China does not confront the U.S. with socialist ideology nor socialist policy. China demands unfettered access to global markets for its exports and investments, which must be at the expense of established capitalists powers like the U.S., western Europe, and Japan.
2) The U.S.-China antagonism is between two big powers. It is not one big power knocking a little one around, such as the U.S. versus various countries in Latin America. It is nonsense to speak here of one side waging a Cold War against the other. You can cite economic and military aggression and preparation for aggression by both the U.S. and China, one power established and bigger for now but in decay, the other power rising rapidly. Once again, quoting a commentator he has found, M.G. plays the child's game of "he started it." -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- Groups.io Links: You receive all messages sent to this group.
