Where did I say anything remotely like that? It's Duane's second slander for
the day.

When did I oppose the popular uprising that occurred in Ukraine ten years ago?

It's not useful to put a minus sign wherever a perceived opponent writes
"plus." It's possible to both support Ukrainian self determination and, at the
same time, recognize that the US did encourage the mass uprising, as it often
does solely to weaken an opponent - in this case, Russia. It's also a fact that
the US has a history of betraying mass movements, e.g. Iraqi Shia and Kurds in
1991. The Assistant Secretary of State was getting everything she wanted from
Maidan, so why publicly encourage the overthrow of Putin's guy? Socialists want
the overthrow of the system not just the overthrow of Putin's guy, i.e. more of
the same but in a different color.
And as I actually wrote in https://groups.io/g/marxmail/message/33738, none of
this lessens support for self determination of the Ukrainian people.
