Julian-- What elements in that video are "Marxist"? There is no analysis of the (competing) mode(s) of production, of the mechanisms and obstacles to accumulation, to the class relations and how those relations supposedly differ or converge, of how classes direct policies in order to satisfy economic imperatives-- we get nothing that embraces those elements of historical materialism that Marx and Engels demonstrated in their works.
Instead we are given the grand conspiracy as scripted by Fukuyama as the articulation of contradiction and its attempted resolution, and that is supposed to represent "dialectics." There are no economic drivers presented to any of the conflicts you identify--instead we're told that all there is to the so-called "color revolutions" and the Arab Spring and Ukraine is the machinations of MI6, CIA, and the DGSE.
