The lefty caucuses talk a lot. They are able to put through some positions on 
foreign policy and on identity politics that annoy the corporate Democratic 
powers. But the caucuses do not have much power in DSA. The national co-chairs 
in the national office have easily ramped up the emphasis on electing 
candidates (as Democrats and without much control over them if they are 
elected) and kept the concept of "democratic socialism" cloudy.
