did. I just raised that possibility which I don't think we can rule out.

You commented on Mamdani's being under popular pressure because he's an
elected official. From that entire passage, which is in reply to me, you
make it seem as if I am unaware of that pressure. In fact, during his
election campaign I made exactly that point numerous times and had sharp
debates with former comrades of mine over exactly that issue. And in my
email I recognized exactly that.

Overall, I think it's very important that we do not inaccurately picture
what others write. I don't think it was intentional on your part, but I
suggest that you be more careful in the future.
