You commented on Mamdani's being under popular pressure because he's an elected official. From that entire passage, which is in reply to me, you make it seem as if I am unaware of that pressure. In fact, during his election campaign I made exactly that point numerous times and had sharp debates with former comrades of mine over exactly that issue. And in my email I recognized exactly that. Overall, I think it's very important that we do not inaccurately picture what others write. I don't think it was intentional on your part, but I suggest that you be more careful in the future.
