Hello, anyway I committed my modification with the HAVE_NL_LANGINFO dependency, and if it is defined, then nl_langinfo is the preferred method for guessing, else we use the current method.
I modified also this old method so that it still works when there is a modifier, like: [EMAIL PROTECTED] (so it takes just iso88915 and stops at '@' instead of going to end of string). Tell me if this is good for you and revert if I made something wrong (though I think it works, at least it works here). Bye.
