Ruben, good question. Right now we're sending a message to the bus, not an
event to the pipeline. In my investigation I tried sending the even to the
source elements, but not the pipeline. We should definitely check this.
However, according to the some what dated gstreamer docs (linked above in the
ticket), they say you send the event directly to the source element.
Chris, this problem is 100% reproducible. Every recording is shutdown
improperly. Verification is pretty simple too. No corrupted media files are
produced :)
