Thank you Rüdiger for the preview. I know the discussion about changes to the 
UI is ongoing, but would you be willing to transfer the sketches to JIRA sooner 
rather than later so people have a chance to discuss/comment them there? I find 
the textual reference via the mailing list a bit difficult to digest. I don't 
expect you to include any comment into your actual implementation, but getting 
feedback in JIRA would probably benefit the overhaul you have in mind overall.
