I don't believe Sergio has tested against a recent version of 1.4, but I'll ask him to. The UI elements are what I put forth in the original proposal for this thread (5 April), in my counterproprosal to Rüdiger's proposal (21 Feb), and even in the thread back in September where we were trying to come up with solutions. Nothing new. I agree that no new functionality should be added during the RC phase; this is a fix to a usability bug, imho. (Regardless, I know we have no spare developer cycles...if Sergio can't complete the work, I'll give up.)
