darn, darn, i didn't realize that mac06 needed the '020.  on those machines i'd prefer 
to run netbsd (i think anyway, i  haven't played with it yet!).  porting the uclinux 
to the mac might be something i'll have to work on.  i've got some plus and classic 
boards i'd like to use for simple stuff, probably without a monitor-just a serial or 
ethernet connection.  it seems likely the uclinux could be burnt into an (e)eprom 
fairly easily if properly ported so a diskless system could be made to work, probably 
to even work as a unix terminal with or without a drive.  more projects for when i get 
the garage set up! (probably not till it gets warm as far as projects go!)
