Sorry, that was my fault. I have a README but it didn't make it to the webserver. It's now there. Usually I'm using the invoca-inst script to install my own initscripts. From the README: ---------------------------------------------------------- To install on newer RedHat/Fedora Core releases, do the following: - install all rpms but the sapdb-testdb. - call the invoca-inst script to install RedHat/Fedora Core compliant init scripts. - install the sapdb-testdb rpm. ---------------------------------------------------------- HTH Simon > > Again, many thanks! > Jerry > > > -----Original Message----- > From: Simon Matter [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] > Sent: Monday, December 15, 2003 2:09 AM > To: Jerry Apfelbaum > Cc: [EMAIL PROTECTED] > Subject: Re: SAPDB/MaxDB on RedHat 9 ?? > >> Hello >> >> I have been trying for a few days to get SAPDB/MaxDB working under >> RedHat 9 to evaluate it for a large upcoming project. >> >> The Installation seems to go well but I cannot get a real database to >> really start running.
