Stefano: The MCN listserv is the perfect place to discuss this. That's what it exists for. Anyone can join, it's open and uncomplicated. Google groups and such are more complicated (rather a pain, in fact, sometimes), and not everyone has the time and patience to log into multiple platforms every day. The best, most highly professional, international discussion groups I (for one) belong to are all listservs.

All, Thank you so much for your interest and for the very insightful contributions. Given the large number of interested parties, I am wondering if we should kick off a separate mailing list (Google groups or such) so we can more easily reach out to other communities. I still think that we can target the next MCN conference for an in-person meeting, while we distill ideas in the mailing list. Thoughts?
