Well I have a 29" Sony Wega (the Japanese model - M31, not the Malaysian
model) and everyone drools over it.
At the end of the day, if the Wega's weren't that impressive, why are people
like Loewe and Bang & Olufsen competing with them in their ads? Why is it
that every time I see a new appliance of some sort from Sony, everybody else
is trying to emulate it, one way or another? Almost every ad I've come
across always infers some competition against Sony rather than against
everyone else.
It's saying something about Sony's products. You're just not looking in the
right places of their range. If you want to buy a good Sony product you must
be prepared to pay for a mid-high end product. You buy their cheaper stuff,
you'll wind up with cheap crap. That rule applies to pretty much every brand
but a lot of people have the misconception that just because it says Sony,
it makes it automatically the best. You're just not looking in the right
places.
Adios,
LarZ

Well I have just got a 21" FD Trinitron set and I must say that I am not
impressed.
