Well I have just got a 21" FD Trinitron set and I must say that I am not
impressed.

Panasonic have the quintrex F which is a flat screen, but it also suffers
the problem where the geomatry changes with picture brightness... All of
them are made to a price :(
Same will be true with MD decks soon. As it is at the moment even the 320 is
well made, how long untill there is the equivilent of the $69 discman in the
MD world remains to be seen. It will boost the populatity of the format.
