Using a “set task sequence variable” step before the “Install Roles and
Features” step. That part works because I can see this in the logs:

Copying source files locally from \\myserver\build$\Operating Systems\Windows
8.1 Enterprise x64 with KB2919355\sources\sxs

How are you setting the path to 'windowssource' ? That needs to be set before
the role install step in the TS as Michael explains.

Trying to use “Install Roles and Features” stop to install .Net 3.5 on Windows
8 in build and capture. I’ve found some people that do this by calling DISM,
but as Michael mentions in this post it shouldn’t be necessary for Litetouch:

http://blogs.technet.com/b/mniehaus/archive/2012/09/27/mdt-2012-update-1-roles-and-features-improvements.aspx

I’m using full source files, but it still seems to fail with this error:

ZTI ERROR - Unhandled error returned by ZTIOSRole: Path not found (76)

I even tried setting the WindowsSource variable, but that didn’t seem to help.
What am I missing here?
