I just ran a process monitor capture and I can see it definitely finds the source files. Not sure why the “path not found” error.

Then “Import Operating System” -->”Full Set of Source Files”--><path to mounted iso> It appears I’m not the only one experiencing this issue. I’ve seen a few “hacks” to work around the problem: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/224b6bd1-5c57-45df-a492-9022a9c319e4/windows-8-automating-the-installation-of-net-framework-35-with-mdt-failing?forum=mdt http://jprudente.wordpress.com/2014/02/27/adding-roles-and-features-during-deployment/ Brian Klish Systems Administrator Morrisville Auxiliary Corporation Morrisville State College From: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> [mailto:[email protected]] On Behalf Of Niall Brady Sent: Sunday, May 25, 2014 4:08 AM To: [email protected]<mailto:[email protected]> Subject: Re: [MDT-OSD] ZTIOSRole fails to install .Net 3.5 - path not found How did you import the full source files into your deployment share ? I’ve found some people that do this by calling DISM, but as Michael mentions in this post it shouldn’t be necessary for Litetouch: http://blogs.technet.com/b/mniehaus/archive/2012/09/27/mdt-2012-update-1-roles-and-features-improvements.aspx I’m using full source files, but it still seems to fail with this error: ZTI ERROR - Unhandled error returned by ZTIOSRole: Path not found (76) I even tried setting the WindowsSource variable, but that didn’t seem to help. What am I missing here? -Brian
