Tried this Try using diskpart manually with F8 in WinPe, create and pre-formatted drive – no dice. Joshua I also tried your config as well, still no dice. Is there something on the deployment share that would cause this? Or The Task sequence?

This happend to before, after the diskpart is was ok. The TS-engine could store any data, after the format it could. Hopefully this helps. Make sure you are using ‘thick provisioned’, I think that is what VMware calls it. I am using VM Ware Workstation 10. HD settings are SCSI. With 40 GB Drive. I am trying to apply win 7 x64. This was working on a previous deployment I had setup, but I had to create a new deployment share and new task sequences. Are there any settings for VM Ware Workstation 10 I should be aware of? Any Drivers I am missing? Any obvious settings in the ts I need to check? I am using WinPE 5.0.
