Seems there are a few choices for this Restrict By Location problem:

1.  Have the patient's Administrative Data changed to reflect a
Temporary Location (where they came from or where they
went,etc)>>>Probably not the best option because then you are forcing
someone to remember to take the Temp Location out and that has created
problems with our Room Service medDietary program and we have been
beating people over the head for using Temp Locations,etc.

2.  Get a custom for our 5.4 system to allow the parameter to be set at
a certain number of hours allowable for documentation after a transfer.

3.  Move ahead to 5.5 which has a parameter setting to allow the same
thing as the custom in #2.

Thanks for the responses, I got answer #3 from Meditech yesterday.
