Hi Sheral;
 
We have MT C/S and the medical necessity checking is down at the time
that the appointment is placed and the order that is attached to that
appointment is completed with the reason for visits.
The medical necessity is set up on the BAR side for certain procedures.

For those of you who are using the CWS/OE link for orders associated
with appointment types, when does the Medical Necessity checking
actually happen?  At the time of scheduling, or at the time of
registration, when the system actually passes the order to the
interface?
