We just filled a Clinical Analyst position that will be the sole analyst
to support the Clinical modules and decided that they need to report to
IT but be the liaison between IT and nursing. The reason we decided
this is that they will be making changes in the LIVE environment on
Meditech which we would need to be in the loop on in case something
happens. There were many other reasons for this but that was the main
reason.

Subject: [MEDITECH-L] Can Clinical Analyst Report to Nursing Dept.?

In a small hospital that only has one Clinical Analyst......could that
Clinical Analyst (that is in charge of the NUR, OE, PCI and NPR modules)
report to the Nursing Department.....or....do they need to be in the IT
Department?

Thanks,
