The latest VMware claims 3D acceleration. But of course right now they
only have Windows client support (and only Win2k and XP - no Vista or
Win7 it seems). So I don't know if this COULD be used with a Linux
driver to begin with (and we'd need support from VMware). But it might
be something to explore.
