And using mailing list is sort of a basic skill when you communicate within online projects. If someone does not want to receive mail from a mailing list, why in the first place would they subscribe? Even if they did for some reason, why wouldn't they use the same method to unsubscribe or change the mail delivery mode, and pester everyone with their pleads? The questions are rhetoric BTW, no need to reply. :)
