Create a filter that "has the words" list:(meego-dev.meego.com) - you
can do this manually, or just click "Filter messages like these" under
the "More actions" drop down in the view header on Gmail to get
started.

Then have that filter apply a new label (I use Lists/Meego-Dev), and
optionally "skip the inbox." All mailing list mail will appear in a
label/filter. If you use IMAP with Gmail, a / in the label name will
create an IMAP folder hierarchy for even more granular organization.

I get tens of thousands of mails a day, and it doesn't bother me at
all, because I use this system.

HTH,
Aaron
