yeah don't use MTF in your own applications.
However, the MTF includes things like mcompositor,
mdecorator, duicontrolpanel, etc...
We're "stuck" with mcompositor for now, but many of these other items
are very aggressively being worked on in terms of removing
them as soon as possible (some even for 1.2)
