We're "stuck" with mcompositor for now, but many of these
other items are very aggressively being worked on in terms
of removing them as soon as possible (some even for 1.2)

This is news to me. Is there a roadmap somewhere? And if
someone wanted to track this sort of thing (MTF, Handset UX,
Tablet UX) -- where should he be hanging out?
