PA22 is required to fix Bluetooth HFP support for IVI, which was broken and never fixed when MeeGo moved from PA 0.21 to PA 0.19. One could argue PA 0.19 should never have been allowed in Trunk.

N900 pa-configuration needs them. This does not show up as build failure. This breaks cellular audio on N900. MIC refuses to create T:T images now. (so it breaks everything) I am not sure, but I think the only way to fix it, is to add support for old-sink/-source to the pulseaudio. I don't remember how big of a task that is or if that creates other problems. One thing I do remember is that resource policy had issues with pa.21 - this was the reason pa.19 was used in the first place. I hope someone has addressed these issues - I don't know about such work. I got the pulseaudio-modules-n900 to build, but testing them is going to be hard, it not impossible with current pa.22. http://build.meego.com/package/show?package=pulseaudio-modules-n900&project=home%3Asami.sirkia%3Abranches%3Adevel%3Amultimedia That's just some patches copied/modified from pa-modules-mfld to get it building. No cleanup has been done. Do not let pa22 into trunk. thanks, SSirkia On 04/11/2011 11:25 AM, Zhang, Vivian wrote: > Sorry that I didn't notice the pulseaudio-modules-n900 build failure earlier. > The new PA is just in devel:multimedia last Friday and we should check in it > ASAP to meet the schedule of Tablet and IVI verticals. > Could you make the fixing for the build failure?
