The DBA catalogue indicates 9/74 to 8/78 are the 180Bs the 'good' struts come
from. Remember 180Bs are like 1600s tho', all sorts of parts get swapped around
over a couple of decades.
The camber difference is a separate issue - my understanding is that Nissan
issued an optional recall on 180Bs and their successor the 710 ( which we didn't
see ) and provided offset strut tops to reduce positive camber. I haven't found
any rhyme or reason as to which years they're best found on, but they're easy
to identify with the bonnet up - there is one mounting stud longer than the
other 2 ( should be toward the engine ) and if you pop the plastic strut cap
off, the strut rod is clearly offset toward the engine side of the hole. Maybe
0.5 degrees per side at best, but it all helps and looks stock ;)
