VIC ROADS reguard rotarys as twice there displacement because of the power
they put out if
you consider using one in a conversion.

12a = 2.4litres  13b = 2.6litres 20b = 4 litres  as for turbo ones? i dont
know. i suspose 1.7 x displacementx2  12a turbo would be over 3litres  i
think...

Yes, a 13B displaces about 1300cc, 20b = 1962cc & 26B = 2622cc, although I
wouldn't compare this to a 4 stroke reciprocating piston type engine. When
you think about how a rotary works, its closer to a 2 stroke engine. I
think comparing a 13B to a 2.6L 6cly a fairer thing.  Especially when you
look at how much fuel they can guzzle and power they can produce.

p.s If you want to hear the best exhaust note ever, find a video of the 91
Le Mans and listen to Mazda's 787B. Awesome.
