David,
There are at least 3 front x members for a 510 but the difference is not to do with the shape to accommodate the L16 sump rather it is the position that the lower control arms attach. All the 510 L16 sumps are basically the same, the only minor differences that i know of are internal baffling, but the A10 Stanza L16 sump is quite different and many a time this has caught out a 510 transplanter especially if it was bought from a wrecker. AFAIK, the engine mounts on the 510 are all the same right through the series, again A10 L16 engine mounts are different. If the sump is hitting then it could be off another model that has a L16 and there were quite a few 710 160J etc. regards

Maybe, just a thought, are all L16 sumps the same?Or could it be engine mounts? ( I did check tne manual and they look the same) ThanksDave --membersozdat------------------------------------------------------- OZDAT Mailing List Please Note:- Send (un)subscribe requests to [EMAIL PROTECTED] Send submissions to [EMAIL PROTECTED] No unauthorised redistribution of this email http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/index.htm http://www.datascribe.com.au/ozdatonline/listindex.html --------------------------------------------------------------------- |
