Hey Simon,
          The paste that you usually find under coil igniters is usually a
heat conductive silicon paste, which is the same as what you'd find on power
transistors that have been bolted to heatsinks. I would recomend that when
you get your new ignitor, go to Dick Smith and buy some since it really does
fill in the air gaps and keep the whole thing cooler.....especially under
high rev conditions.
As far as computers go....I'd go for the wolf3D as far as installation,
features for the money, ease of use and the fact that I'm running one on my
L16.(via hand controller) In actual fact, it really doesn't matter which
brand you go for, as long as it's tuned properly, you won't be able to tell
them apart. Have I confused you now?
